We’ve been running our Personal Branding Masterclass at Warwick Manufacturing Group (part of the University of Warwick) for several years, so it was good to be back to run four sessions earlier in the year.

Feedback was anonymised but here’s what some of the participants had to say:

“The tools and application of the Personal Branding Canvas were great. Very practical.”

“Thanks for a great workshop.”

“This was simply presented. Easy to understand. Thank you!”

“Really informative. The knowledge I learnt can be applied to the real world.”

“Really good workshop. Very practical and useful.”

“The trainer is friendly and can explain concepts clearly and passionately.”

“The content was not standard, e.g. ‘you should write a CV like this’. It taught me the process of building a personal brand which makes it more applicable.”

“Atmosphere and lecturer were really good.”

“Really enjoyed the engaging and simplified manner it was delivered in.”

“Very lovely workshop. Thank you, Darren.”

“Greatly delivered presentation. Everything explained clearly. I could feel the tangible benefit from it.”

Commenting on the session, Wavelength’s Dr. Coleman outlined:

“The University of Warwick is an excellent university. It’s very well respected in industry and academia and this opens doors for students when it comes to finding a job. The challenge many students face relates to understanding and articulating their values and aspirations, then seeking out prospective employers who are aligned with those. I also see this in the executive-level personal branding sessions I run.

“For many students, the day represents a voyage of discovery. Some students start out with corporate-world aspirations but by the end of the day realise they are more suited to a small or medium-sized family firm. Vice versa also applies. This can be a difficult bridge for some students to cross, but the Masterclass provides them with practical tools and templates which help them make a more informed choice for themselves.”
