As the Honorary Consul for Lithuania in Birmingham, Wavelength’s Dr. Darren Coleman was invited to Birmingham Lord Majors Consuls’ Lunch which is held annually at the Council House in central Birmingham. His Excellency, Eitvydas Bajarūnas, Ambassador of Lithuania to the UK also kindly attended.
The annual lunch is hosted at the Council House, Birmingham.

“It was my pleasure to attend the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Midland’ Consuls’ Lunch at the Council House, Birmingham. The event was very well attended and it was wonderful to discuss how Lithuania can deepen its relationship with the Mayor and other Consuls in the Birmingham area.
This was my first time to meet our Honorary Consul, Dr. Darren Coleman and I look forward to collaborating with him over the coming years.”

It’s my absolute privilege to be the Honorary Consul for Lithuania in my hometown of Birmingham. In formal terms this entails being a local diplomatic contact for Lithuania but in practical terms entails being a friend to Lithuania and Lithuanians in Birmingham.
I was delighted the recently appointed, Ambassador of Lithuania to the UK, Eitvydas Bajarūnas, attended the Lord Mayor’s annual Midland Consuls’ Lunch. It was wonderful to spend time with him and, indeed other Consular corps for the Midlands area.
